Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Beat the butter or margarine until lemon colored.
  2. Gradually add the confectioners sugar, flour, vanilla, and chopped pecans to the butter mixture, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Shape the dough into small cocoon shapes and place them on a cookie sheet.
  4. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 25 to 30 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. While still hot, roll the cookies in powdered sugar to coat them.
