Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mashed cooked peas
  • 1 cup mashed cooked carrots
  • 1 cup pecan meats
  • 2 tablespoons minced onion
  • 2 cups soft bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon melted fat
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • dash of pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients except corn flakes in a mixing bowl.
  2. Shape the mixture into thick chops.
  3. Roll each chop in crushed corn flakes to coat.
  4. Place the coated chops on a greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve with tomato sauce, white sauce, or tomato catsup.
