Pecan Topped Toffee

Instructions
- In deep narrow saucepan, melt butter and sugar; boil to 300°, hard candy stage.
- Stir constantly.
- Pour into greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
- Layer chocolate over hot candy; spread evenly when melted.
- Sprinkle with pecans; press lightly.
- Refrigerate 1 hour (no longer).
- Turn out and break into pieces.
