Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fine bread crumbs
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 pounds hamburger
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion juice or onion flavoring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine the bread crumbs and milk in a bowl and let sit for a few minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the hamburger, salt, pepper, and onion flavoring if using.
  3. Add the crumb mixture to the meat mixture and blend thoroughly.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into T-bone steak shapes and place on a broiler pan.
  5. Sprinkle Worcestershire sauce over the shaped steaks.
  6. Spread pats of butter lightly over the steaks.
  7. Broil the steaks for 6 to 10 minutes until desired doneness.
  8. Turn the steaks and broil the other side for an additional few minutes.
