  • pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup nuts

Instructions

  1. Blend together brown sugar, milk, butter, light corn syrup, and salt in a 3-quart casserole.
  2. Microwave 5 minutes on High; stir well.
  3. Microwave an additional 6 minutes on High.
  4. Cool to lukewarm.
  5. Stir in vanilla and nuts.
  6. Spread in a buttered pan and cool until firm.
