- Press the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch pan to form the first layer.

- Pour this over the first layer and freeze for two hours.
- Spread ice cream over the frozen layer and refreeze.
- Spread Cool Whip on top and garnish with chocolate shavings.
- Refreeze until firm before serving.
