Peppermint Pats Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. softened butter
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint flavoring
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. crushed peppermint candy

Instructions

  1. Cream butter; gradually add in sugar, beating till light and fluffy.
  2. Add in egg yolk, beating well.
  3. Stir in flavorings.
  4. Gradually add in flour; mix well.
  5. Stir in crushed candy.
  6. Shape mix into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar.
  7. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min.
  9. Remove immediately from cookie sheets and cold on wire racks.
