Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chuck
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 3/4 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the beaten egg, bread crumbs, chopped onion, and salt in a mixing bowl; mix well.
  2. Add the ground beef and mix thoroughly until combined.
  3. Divide the mixture into 8 equal parts.
  4. Roll each part into a 6-inch long sausage shape.
  5. Lay the 8 sausage pieces side by side and cut each into 1-inch pieces with a knife.
  6. Roll each piece into a ball to form the meatballs.
  7. Place the meatballs into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes.
  9. Add the cooked meatballs to spaghetti sauce or use in a recipe of your choice.
