- Combine the beaten egg, bread crumbs, chopped onion, and salt in a mixing bowl; mix well.
- Add the ground beef and mix thoroughly until combined.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal parts.
- Roll each part into a 6-inch long sausage shape.
- Lay the 8 sausage pieces side by side and cut each into 1-inch pieces with a knife.
- Roll each piece into a ball to form the meatballs.
- Place the meatballs into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes.
- Add the cooked meatballs to spaghetti sauce or use in a recipe of your choice.
