- Mix beaten eggs with persimmon pulp. Add sugar.
- Sift together flour, soda, and salt. Add alternately to the mixture with sweet milk.
- Stir in 2 tablespoons melted butter. The mixture will be quite thin.
- Pour into a large ovenproof bowl or casserole.
- Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes, until dark, grainy, but not dry.
