Pickle Delight

A tangy, sweet and savory pickle dish infused with onion, horseradish, and celery seed, perfect for snack platters, sandwiches, or as a flavorful side.

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. dill Kosher pickles
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 3 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. prepared horseradish

Instructions

  1. Drain 1 quart of dill Kosher pickles.
  2. Cut pickles into strips.
  3. Place pickles back in the jar and add sugar, chopped onion, celery seed, vinegar, and horseradish.
  4. Add half of the sugar to the bottom of the jar and the other half on top of the pickles.
  5. Put the lid on the jar and shake until all sugar dissolves.
  6. Place the jar in the refrigerator and shake occasionally.
  7. After 24 hours, the pickles are ready to eat.
