Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, eggs, baking soda, vanilla, chopped walnuts, and crushed pineapple with juice. Mix all ingredients together until well blended.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before serving.
