Ingredients

  • 2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a fork until smooth.
  2. Gradually stir in the drained crushed pineapple, 1 cup of chopped pecans, green pepper, onion, and seasoned salt.
  3. Shape the mixture into a ball.
  4. Roll the cheese ball in the remaining chopped pecans.
  5. Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap or foil.
  6. Refrigerate until well chilled before serving.
