Ingredients

  • 1 bottle pineapple preserves
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 3 to 4 cloves
  • 2 tsp oil
  • pinch of salt
  • few drops lemon juice
  • chili powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. In hot oil, add cumin seed, cinnamon stick, and cloves.
  2. Add pineapple preserves and heat thoroughly.
  3. Add salt, lemon juice, and chili powder if desired.
  4. Cool the chutney and store it in the refrigerator.
