Ingredients

  • 1 yellow or white cake mix
  • 1 package vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 3/4 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake on a greased and floured 10 x 15-inch sheet pan. Prepare vanilla pudding with milk and let it cool.
  2. Cook crushed pineapple with 3/4 cup sugar and flour until thickened.
  3. Mix butter, margarine, and 1 cup sugar with the cooled pudding and beat until smooth.
  4. Spread the pudding mixture over the cooled cake.
  5. Spread the cooked pineapple over the pudding layer.
  6. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the pineapple layer and serve.
