Ingredients

  • 8 oz. can crushed pineapple in juice
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions

  1. In a 2-quart casserole, stir in the undrained crushed pineapple, brown sugar, and cornstarch.
  2. Stir in the milk, corn syrup, and salt.
  3. Microwave on High for 4 to 5 minutes until starting to boil.
  4. Stir in the butter.
  5. Microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes until the sauce is clear and no starchy taste remains.
