Instructions
- Sift all dry ingredients, except cereal.
- Add cereal.
- Beat egg, milk and oil together.
- Add to dry ingredients.
- Stir until blended.
- Stick skewers into ends of franks.
- Wipe franks with dry cloth.
- Dust with flour.
- Dip into batter.
- Drop into deep fat at 375°.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot.
- Makes 10 to 12 Pirate Pups.
