Instructions
- Cook the tomatoes until soupy, approximately 3 hours.
- Add the chopped onions, salt, hot peppers or red pepper, salad oil, basil leaves, oregano, and sugar.
- Cook for 1 hour.
- Add the tomato paste and stir well.
- Put the sauce in jars and cook for 20 minutes.
