Amish Pluckets are soft, sweet rolls with nuts and cinnamon, perfect for sharing at breakfast or brunch, offering a delightful, warm, and comforting treat for family and friends.

- Dissolve 1 cake yeast in 1/4 cup lukewarm water.
- Add 1/3 cup scalded milk, 1/3 cup sugar, melted butter, salt, beaten eggs, and 4 cups flour to the yeast mixture.
- Beat thoroughly, then cover and let rise until doubled in size.
- Stir the dough down and let it rise again until doubled.
- Take 1 teaspoon of dough and dip it in melted butter.
- Roll the dough in a mixture of 1 cup sugar, nuts, and cinnamon.
- Pile the balls loosely in an ungreased angel food pan.
- Let the rolls rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for an additional 30 minutes.
- Immediately turn the pan upside down when baked.
- Serve warm, allowing everyone to pluck their roll from the central supply.
- Reheat wrapped in foil or serve cold as desired.
