Ingredients

  • 3 carrots
  • 2 or 3 potatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 1.5 lb ground beef
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Make 4 beef patties from ground beef and season with salt.
  2. Peel carrots, potatoes, and onions.
  3. Slice onions and potatoes; cut carrots into 2 to 3-inch lengths.
  4. Place each beef patty on a large piece of aluminum foil, approximately 12 to 15 inches long.
  5. Put several slices of potatoes and onions, along with the carrots, on each beef patty.
  6. Fold the foil to enclose the ingredients, creating a pocket.
  7. Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
