Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 stick oleo, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 cup crushed corn flakes
  • 1/2 cup flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking soda.
  2. In a large bowl, beat oleo, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and egg until creamy.
  3. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing well.
  4. Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls onto a prepared cookie sheet (ungreased or lightly sprayed).
  5. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 14 minutes or until edges are crisp and centers are soft.
