Ingredients

  • 3 lb. halibut or cod (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/3 c. lime juice
  • 1/4 c. melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. marjoram
  • 2/3 c. frozen cream of shrimp soup
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 3 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Skin, bone and cut fish into 6 serving size pieces.
  2. Place in greased baking dish; pour lime juice on top of fish.
  3. Allow to marinate a few minutes on each side; discard juice.
  4. Pour on melted butter and seasoning.
  5. Broil for 10 minutes, about 4 inches from heat, basting once with butter.
  6. Remove from heat; baste again with pan juices.
  7. Set aside to cool slightly.
  8. Combine the soup and sour cream; spoon on each piece of fish.
  9. Bake at 325° for 10 minutes; garnish with onion and shrimp.
