- Per pound of skinless frozen haddock fillets, use 2 tablespoons salt in cold water to cover in a large skillet.
- Bring the water to a gentle boil and cook the haddock for 10 minutes, then drain.
- Cover the fish again with cold water, adding 2 tablespoons vinegar and 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
- Bring to a boil and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Drain well; remove the fish to a hot platter.
- Serve immediately with melted butter.
