Ingredients

  • 2 qt. popped corn
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 c. raw peanuts

Instructions

  1. Melt the margarine in a saucepan.
  2. Add sugar, Karo syrup, and raw peanuts to the melted margarine.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil and stir for 5 minutes.
  5. Add 1 cup of pecan halves to the mixture.
  6. Continue boiling for another 10 minutes.
  7. Pour the hot syrup and nuts over the popped popcorn.
  8. Stir until the popcorn is well coated with the mixture.
  9. Place the coated popcorn on wax paper to cool and set.
