Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup white syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 5 cups popcorn

Instructions

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add 1 cup of white syrup, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of salt to the melted butter.
  3. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and heated through.
  4. Remove from heat and fold in 5 cups of popcorn until evenly coated.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool slightly so it becomes manageable.
  6. Scoop the popcorn mixture into paper cups, shaping into small balls or scoops as desired.
  7. Let the popcorn ball cups set and firm up before serving.
