Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/3 cup Karo syrup (light)
  • 1 1/2 cups unpopped corn
  • 2 cups nuts

Instructions

  1. Pop popcorn as directed.
  2. Mix brown sugar, margarine, and Karo syrup in a saucepan and bring to a boil, then cook for 4 minutes.
  3. Pour the hot caramel mixture over the popcorn and nuts, then stir to coat evenly.
  4. Bake at 250°F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  5. Let cool before storing in a sealed container.
