Poppin Fresh Barbecups combine savory ground beef, tangy barbecue sauce, and melted cheddar cheese in flaky biscuit cups, perfect as a quick snack or party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tablespoon instant onion
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 8 oz refrigerator baking powder biscuits
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef and drain excess fat.
  2. Add barbecue sauce, instant onion, and brown sugar to the cooked beef; mix well.
  3. Separate the refrigerator biscuit dough into 12 individual biscuits.
  4. Place one biscuit in each cup of an ungreased muffin pan, pressing up to the edge of each cup.
  5. Spoon the meat mixture into each biscuit cup.
  6. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the top of each filled biscuit cup.
  7. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until the biscuits are golden and cheese is melted.
