- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef.
- Drain excess fat from the skillet.
- Add barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and minced onion to the beef and mix well. Set aside.
- Place one biscuit in each ungreased muffin cup, pressing the dough up the sides to form a cup.
- Spoon the meat mixture into each biscuit cup.
- Sprinkle grated cheese over the meat filling.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until golden and bubbly.
