- To the remaining milk, add butter, sugar, and salt.

- Stir in the yeast mixture and half of the flour; beat well.
- Add the rest of the flour and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Cover and let the dough rise until double in size.
- Roll out the dough and spread with poppy seed filling.
- Roll up the dough and let it rise until double in size.
- Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 20 minutes.
