- Trim a little fat from the edge of the pork chops and fry out in a heavy skillet.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet.
- Flour the chops and brown them in the hot fat.
- Combine vinegar, catsup, crushed pineapple, soy sauce, brown sugar, and salt to make the sauce.
- Spoon fat from the skillet and pour the catsup mixture over and around the chops.
- Cover and cook over low heat for 1 1/4 hours or until very tender.
- Spoon sauce over the chops once or twice during cooking and add a little water as needed.
- Serve the pork chops and sauce with cooked rice.
