Juicy pork chops baked in foil with mushrooms, infused with wine and herbs for a tender, flavorful meal perfect for cozy dinners or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms
  • 1/4 tsp. rosemary
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. red wine
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 4 lean pork chops

Instructions

  1. Mix red wine, rosemary, and thyme together; set aside.
  2. Take 4 pieces of foil, large enough to enclose a chop loosely.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon of butter on the dull side of each foil piece, in the center.
  4. Place a pork chop on the butter, then cover with one-quarter of the mushrooms.
  5. Fold up the sides of the foil to make an unleakable pouch.
  6. Pour one-quarter of the wine mixture into each pouch.
  7. Fold over the foil so that there is an airspace, but it is sealed tightly.
