Ingredients

  • 1 can lima beans
  • 1 can butter beans
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 1 can baked beans (20 oz.)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 pound bacon
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon into small pieces and brown in a skillet.
  2. Add sliced onion, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic powder, and mustard to the bacon; simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Drain lima beans, butter beans, and red kidney beans.
  4. Place all beans in a casserole or bean pot.
  5. Pour the bacon mixture over the beans and stir lightly.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
