Ingredients

  • 2 lb. hash browns (frozen)
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Defrost frozen hash browns for 10 minutes in the dish you plan to use.
  2. Mix all ingredients—sour cream, chopped onion, cream of chicken soup, shredded Cheddar cheese—with the hash browns.
  3. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter and mix with 1 1/2 cups crushed cornflakes.
  4. Spread the crushed cornflakes mixture on top of the potato mixture.
  5. Cook in the microwave for 15 minutes.
