Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. diced bacon
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 16 oz. can kidney beans, drained
  • 16 oz. can pork and beans
  • 16 oz. can butter beans
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 c. barbecue or chili sauce
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses

Instructions

  1. Fry bacon until limp; drain off grease.
  2. Remove bacon.
  3. In the same skillet, brown beef and sauté onion.
  4. Add all the remaining ingredients, mix well, and pour into a large baking dish.
  5. Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours covered, then uncovered for 30 minutes.
  6. Alternatively, pour all ingredients into a crock-pot and cook on low for several hours.
