Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 box cornbread mix
  • 1 can corn kernels, drained
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Brush a 3-quart shallow dish or pan generously with some of the melted butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cornbread mix, drained corn kernels, cream-style corn, sour cream, and melted butter; mix with a spoon until well blended.
  3. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
  4. Place on the center shelf of the oven and bake at 350°F until the top is golden and crusty and a knife inserted comes out clean, about 50 to 55 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
