Sweet, soft breakfast rolls with cinnamon and sugar, topped with a glaze of powdered sugar, perfect for a cozy morning treat or brunch gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen bread
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Let bread thaw overnight in the refrigerator.
  2. Two to two and a half hours before serving, cut the bread into 18 pieces and roll into balls.
  3. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  4. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a bowl or a plastic bag and cover the rolls with the mixture.
  5. Place the rolls in the pan and pour remaining cinnamon and sugar over them.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the top and let rise, covered with wax paper.
