Ingredients

  • 8 cups croutons or bread crumbs
  • 2 cups celery, diced
  • 2 cups onions, chopped
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sage or poultry seasoning
  • 1 (46 oz.) can chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Saute the onions and celery in margarine.
  2. Add chicken broth and all ingredients except croutons.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Pour over croutons.
  5. If mixture seems too dry, add a little milk.
  6. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch uncovered pan for 30 to 45 minutes at 350°F.
