Praline Bottom Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 pie shell, baked
  • 4 tablespoons butter or 4 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans, coarsely chopped
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 cups cooked pumpkin
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in nuts and brown sugar; cook, stirring until mixture bubbles. Spread over bottom of baked pie shell and cool.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients and beat until throughly mixed. Pour into pie shell.
  3. Bake at 375 for 50-60 minutes or until set.
  4. Garnish with whipped cream and extra pecans.
