Ingredients

  • 2 envelopes Knox unflavored gelatine
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 cups prepared eggnog
  • 1/3 cup praline liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon rum
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped or heavy cream
  • 9-inch graham cracker crust
  • ground nutmeg
  • whole berry cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, mix unflavored gelatine with sugar.
  2. Blend in egg yolks, beaten with 1 cup of eggnog.
  3. Let stand for 1 minute.
  4. Stir over low heat until gelatine is completely dissolved, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in remaining eggnog, praline liqueur, rum, and vanilla. Pour into a large bowl and chill, stirring occasionally, until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from spoon.
  6. Fold in whipped cream.
  7. Turn into the prepared graham cracker crust; sprinkle with ground nutmeg.
  8. Chill until firm.
  9. Garnish with drained whole berry cranberry sauce.
