Ingredients

  • red kidney beans
  • lean hamburger

Instructions

  1. Cut bacon into small pieces and brown it in a heavy pot.
  2. Add lean hamburger, chopped onion, and chopped green pepper to the bacon and cook until browned.
  3. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce, black pepper, salt, and water to the pot.
  4. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  5. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring often.
