Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup canned or cooked pumpkin
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine all wet ingredients and sugar in a bowl; mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.
  3. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the pan and serving.
