Ingredients

  • 1 (28 oz.) can pumpkin
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 (2 layer) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

Instructions

  1. Combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, pumpkin pie spice, and salt in a bowl; mix well.
  2. Pour the mixture into a buttered 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
  3. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
