Ingredients

  • 29 oz. can pumpkin
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 3 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix pumpkin, salt, and eggs in a bowl.
  2. Beat well until combined.
  3. Add evaporated milk, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice; mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  5. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture.
  6. Pour melted butter over the cake mix, then sprinkle nuts on top.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour.
  8. Serve topped with whipped cream.
