A quick, comforting peach dessert with a buttery, cinnamon-spiced peach layer topped with cake and baked until golden, perfect for family gatherings or casual get-togethers.

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes yellow cake mix
  • 2 large cans sliced peaches
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a baking pan, place 3/4 of a box of yellow cake mix on the bottom.
  2. Slice 6 tablespoons of margarine and layer on top of the cake mix.
  3. Combine sliced peaches and cinnamon and spread over the cake mix layer.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  5. Slice the butter and lay it on top of the final layer.
  6. Cover the pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  7. Uncover and bake until the top is golden brown.
