A savory, cheesy pepperoni-filled bread that's quick to prepare and perfect for sharing at parties or family dinners, offering gooey cheese, spicy pepperoni, and flavorful sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough
  • 3 to 4 oz. sliced pepperoni
  • 4 to 6 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup spaghetti or pizza sauce
  • sauteed pepper and/or onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Thaw the frozen bread dough.
  2. Pat the dough into a 12 x 15-inch rectangle on a floured surface.
  3. Spread spaghetti or pizza sauce in the middle of the rectangle.
  4. Layer sliced pepperoni evenly in several layers in the middle, about 3 to 4 inches of the dough rectangle.
  5. Sprinkle shredded Mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan over the pepperoni.
  6. Fold the dough lengthwise to enclose the filling, pinching the seams well.
  7. Pinch and seal the ends of the dough.
  8. Place the seam side down on a greased baking sheet.
  9. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes until golden brown.
