A savory overnight casserole combining sausage, mushrooms, cheese, and eggs wrapped in crescent rolls, perfect for a hearty breakfast or brunch gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent rolls
  • 1 lb sausage, cooked and drained
  • mushrooms, sliced to taste
  • 3/4 lb Monterey Jack cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 can cream of onion soup

Instructions

  1. Line a 13 x 9-inch dish with crescent rolls, sealing perforations.
  2. Layer cooked and drained sausage, sliced mushrooms, and half the cheese on top of the crescent rolls.
  3. Mix eggs with cream of onion soup and pour over the casserole.
  4. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  5. Chill the casserole overnight.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour until cooked through and bubbly.
