Quick Breakfast Rolls are sweet, nut-topped rolls made with biscuit dough and a caramel-like brown sugar syrup, perfect for a warm, indulgent breakfast or brunch treat.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup pancake syrup
  • 6 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 cans biscuits

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat brown sugar, pancake syrup, and margarine until margarine is melted and the mixture is bubbly.
  2. Pour the hot mixture into a 9-inch round cake pan.
  3. Cover the caramel mixture with chopped nuts.
  4. Place biscuits over the nut-topped mixture.
  5. Bake at 400°F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let the rolls rest for about 2 to 3 minutes, then turn them over onto a plate and serve.
