Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 10 oz can whole baby clams
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Saute onion in butter in a large pot until translucent.
  2. Add clam broth from the canned clams, water, and diced potatoes to the pot.
  3. Cook until the potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
  4. Add the canned clams, milk, salt, and pepper to the pot.
  5. Heat through until hot and serve.
