Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3/4 cup chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup Bisquick original baking mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Grease a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Cook ground beef until browned, then drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in chopped tomato and Italian seasoning.
  5. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the pie plate.
  6. In a bowl, stir together Bisquick, milk, and eggs until blended.
  7. Pour the batter into the pie plate over the beef mixture.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  10. Bake for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until cheese is melted.
  11. Serve hot with pizza sauce.
