Ingredients

  • 2 c. self-rising meal
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp. sage
  • 2 c. buttermilk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. or more celery, chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Bake in iron skillet.
  3. When ready for use, crumble and mix with turkey or chicken broth.
  4. Bake at 350° until golden brown.
