Ingredients

  • 8 manicotti shells
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (15 oz.) jar Prego spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the manicotti shells according to package instructions; rinse in cold water and drain.
  2. In a skillet, sauté the ground beef and garlic until browned; drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, shredded mozzarella, salt, and mayonnaise; stir well.
  4. Stuff each manicotti shell with the meat and cheese mixture using a spoon.
  5. Spread a layer of Prego spaghetti sauce in a greased baking dish.
  6. Arrange the stuffed shells in the baking dish over the sauce.
  7. Pour remaining sauce over the shells and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 20-25 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
